Lee was previously the web developer for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and still works closely with the office in his current role. He is an avid pool player and sports fan (Go Pats!).

Hometown: Rantoul, Illinois by way of Virginia Beach, VA.

Role: Web developer, administrator, photographer, videographer, communications/marketing strategist for Enrollment Management. Areas include the University Registrar, Financial Aid, Summer and Winter Sessions, College Access Collaborative, and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Responsibilities: Full-stack web and database administration and accessibility consultation. Areas include website content, analytics, search optimization, and front/back-end developement. Responsibilities and skills include coding, SEO, web and email templating, Slate (CRM) development, digital asset management, and front/back-end development for the larger VT web community. Communications-strategy responsibilities include event photography/videography and social media content marketing and management for Enrollment.

Why: Lee believes in Ut Prosim and that all of VT has a stake in enrollment.

    Donning of the Kente 2022 , article

    May 11, 2022 - The first Cultural Achievement Ceremony at Virginia Tech, the Donning of the Kente began in 2013 as a celebration of African American heritage. It has continued to grow, with 250 students in attendance in 2019. The ceremony outside of Tech has a rich history, with the American tradition dating back to the 20th century, and the Kente cloth dating back centuries. At the ceremony, students adorn the Ghanaian Kente cloth graduation robe and gather with family, friends, and colleagues to celebrate undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.     First Draft Studios Mentorship Program , article

    April 23, 2022 - Virginia Tech’s College Access Collaborative is excited to work with Architecture students Maria Garlock and Makayla Rillamas to launch the inaugural program for First Draft Studios, a mentorship program that connects high school students of color to College of Architecture and Urban Studies (CAUS) Programs, and to mentors in Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, and Industrial Design. In a day full of hands-on, minds-on activities, 15 high school juniors from Montgomery County Public Schools will explore CAUS majors as creative outlets and as viable, successful careers.
